Deciding what size to choose for your new bed is nerve-racking work. It seems that more often than not, there is usually a debate concerning “well, I’d really like a large, beautiful bed, but can I afford the price? Is it worth it?” The answer should depend on what you find important, comfort and beauty, or a pragmatic solution. Probably the most important thing to remember when picking out a bed frame is to keep the size proportional to the size of the room. Nothing is worse than having to walk on your tip-toes while sliding against your wall to squeeze into your bed, then having to do the same thing in the morning to get out! Or having a bed that is too small for your larger room can throw off the visual balance of your suite. If you are taller than six feet, you might want to consider purchasing a California King sized bed to prevent the dreaded “feet dangle” as you sleep. But if you have a large room, but a small frame, a queen or full sized bed more often than not, will fit perfectly in your bedroom space.

Queen sized beds are the most common size on the market, so if you wanted versatility when searching for bed sheets, a queen size bed will unlock nearly unlimited bed sheet options. Unique designs often call for a Queen, or larger, size. Whatever the size, keep these points in mind when searching!
